What manner is internet-based version of TOEFL iBT carried out?

Internet test is to consider abilities to use English in academic aspect .

Internet-based version of TOEFL iBT is governed due to computer software program that consists of four parts: Reading aspect, Listening aspect, Communication aspect, Writing aspect.

In a part attributed to „ Reading” you will read some extracts and questions you will be asked to answer according to the essence of information received during reading.

In a part attributed to „Listening” you will hear some dialogues and monologues and you need answering the questions related to the essence of information you have heard.

In a part „Speaking” you will answer 6 questions. Some of them will suggest answering certain points of your general experience. Other will be linked with listening comprehension of the monologue fragment and extracts read.

In a part „Writing” you will be suggested to answer two writing tasks.

The first task consists in writing of a composition - description of links between essences of monologue you will hear and fragments you will read.

The second task suggests writing an essay related to the points of general subject-matter.

Participants of internet - based testing will be given a 10 minutes break directly after the part of „Listeneng”.

Besides, instructions and directions to each of the parts will be supplied that will assist you with explanations regarding the procedures of answering the tasks suggested.
